Andrew &Shailene on set pics + Gwen & Peter’s Blue Valentine

It makes me sad to watch their characters, Peter and Mary Jane, start a love arc knowing that poor Gwen’s fate is near. I love Gwen and Peter love story more because its a one of kind type of love, a blue valentine, romantic yet tragic.

Serena will definitely provide a new perspective of Jennifer and Bradley, their relationship is intense and sickening. Serena will be a good movie to watch later this year.

In response to The Croods backlash for having light skinned characters.

There has been a lot of skepticism over the fact that the human characters in the animated film by Dream Works, The Croods are light skinned people and not a darker complexion. Claiming it was a marketing idea to have them “white” versus a darker shade. First, the movie  trailers starts off by saying that they should “Never leave the cave,”[x] so one obviously recognize that they are cavemen, further to this one can deduce the movie is relying on the fact that the cavemen are Neanderthals(based on their appearance). Now, since the movie is portraying them as Neanderthals and not other spices like Homo erectus or Homo ergaster (who were darker in complexion due to their region), there is evidence that suggest Neanderthals had the possibility to have red hair, green eyes and a light skin color [x] [x]

Even when new evidence keeps coming in about the new discoveries about the genetics humans (and other human species) one cannot deny the possibility that some Neanderthals were in fact light skinned, red haired and even with green eyes (October 2008 Edition of National Geographic Magazine [“The Other Humans- Neanderthals Revealed”]. Although The Croods could have been Homo erectus or Homo ergaster, these characters are portrayed as Neanderthals and their appearance seem to correspond to real appearance of Neanderthals. image
